Steve quotes a recent study by the Medical Group Management Association; “Between 2008 and 2012, multispecialty practices saw their bad debt go up 14 percent.” Steve remarks, “They are increasingly being asked to act as a financial institution. We have been providing billing and coding services on an as-needed basis for years. We saw an opportunity to innovate and confront industry challenges with an integrated approach to billing and collections bottlenecks. Bonded Business Services is well positioned to address this growing challenge. The double whammy of the Affordable Care Act and the ICD-10 code transition has contributed an air of urgency for small and medium size clinics to get their financial house in order.
