Great News! The Conforming Loan Limit has increased, offering more purchasing power and better financing options. Loans within conforming loan limits are typically easier to qualify for than loans exceeding conforming limits, which are called Jumbo loans. Furthermore, conforming loan amounts offer down payments as low as 3%, while Jumbo loans typically need 20%. Lastly, conforming loan amounts typically have lower rates than Jumbo loans. Whether you're buying or helping clients, this change opens up new possibilities for securing a larger loan.
