Boulder Trade Exchange Local Barter Based Trade Exchange

The Trade Exchange promotes keeping local business dollars within the Boulder economy by allowing members a platform to trade their goods and services with other local business. Local members will accept trade dollars for the items they list on the exchange and then use those trade dollars to purchase items that they would normally pay for in cash (local advertising, business lunches, legal servic

es, web design, printing, office cleaning services, etc...). Our revenue comes from a % transaction fee (or commission) that is charged to the seller when a transaction is completed in our digital marketplace. In addition to the business to business trade commerce our members have the ability to donate trade dollars to a local .ORG that is having a positive impact on the local Boulder community. These non-profits will then use these trade dollars to reduce cash operating expenses and enhance fund raising efforts and events.

The Boulder Trade Exchange will have on line registration available starting May 1st and is slated to go live with bartering transactions in August.
