It’s important to remember that there are STILL financial costs that disproportionately impact the LGBTQ+ community especially around family planning.

💊 For le***an couples, some medical insurers won’t cover fertility treatments without a medical diagnosis of infertility or a “year of trying.” has some great resources on the cost of IVF, IUI, and reciprocal IVF for LGBTQ+ families.

👶🏻 The cost of adoption is generally $50-$60K

🏳️‍🌈 Just living in an LGBTQ+ city like San Francisco or Manhattan might cost considerably more

Having kids is expensive! Am I right? 🤑
