Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business is proud to present CAIS, an annual two-day conference developed for students, practitioners, and academics and is designed to create a knowledge forum with some of the brightest minds in the Alternative Investments space. CAIS prides itself it its ability to address the most recent issues within the realms of Hedge Funds, Private Equity a

nd Venture Capital Funds with a high emphasis on current markets, strategies and trends that are vital to these fields and their role in the global economy. We hope that by providing the knowledge though our keynote presentations, dynamic panels, and networking sessions, we can contribute to this forum of conversation that will help better our understanding and widen our perspectives on the current economic situation of these specialized alternative funds. Students will gain a better understanding of alternative investments, and most importantly, they will learn how to overcome obstacles and challenges that relate to careers in alternative investments.
