Meet Ron Rice, the only CPA with a sense of humor. Ron is one of the longest-standing members of our networking group (BNI Financial District). His company, Weiner and Rice LLC, can do your tax return and save you money. In the off-season (like now), Ron can take a look at your tax return and see if there’s anything missing, which could potentially put more money back in your pocket. He did this for my wife and I. Meet Kerilynn Vigneau of KLV Styling. Kerilynn is a personal stylist, in fact, she styled me for my cousin’s wedding and helped me create a bespoke shirt that I can wear on stage (and sweat in and not ruin). Originally, Kerilynn worked in the Art gallery scene in Washington, D.C. She styled men for J.Hillburn as a side hustle at first. Then she discovered creating custom-fit clothing for any occasion and helping people find “that inner bada$$ star” was her jam. Recently she expanded her practice to include women because she “kept hearing how frustrated and exhausted men AND women were feeling about their wardrobes. Fits, styling, timelessness, what to invest in, how to say goodbye to those shirts that just don’t work anymore,” as she states on her website klvstyling.com

If you want to take all the stress out of what to wear, Kerilynn is your person.

Meet Chris Jordan from Professional Insurance and Risk Brokerage (PIRB). Chris is my insurance guy. He is not tied to any specific insurance company, which is why you want him as YOUR insurance guy! Being untethered, Chris can put his clients first, and find the best deal for them whether that deal is through Insurance Company A or Insurance Company B.

Chris is looking to meet small business’s and individuals who want to save money on their insurance.

Meet Mike Marchesi from Kyocera New England. He's been selling document solutions of all types for over ten years: printers and copiers, scanning projects, document storage and retrieval systems, you name it. If your company or institution has printing equipment or needs to securely process lots of documents, ask him for a second opinion. Chances are he can save you money, time - or even both.

Meet Barry Familetto of Stetson Management and Development. He manages properties and brings many of them back to life. I made a video for Barry showing the transformation of a medical building: the clean-up, the installed systems, and bringing a 1960s building into the 21st century. Barry is an expert at making commercial spaces profitable. Breathing new life into old buildings, Barry and his team are some of the best in the business.

Meet Allison Ahern Fillo. She’s an immigration attorney. Correction: she’s a phenomenal immigration attorney. She helps people from other countries secure green cards and visas so they can work in the United States, and she’s really good at it. Her clients range from tech CEOs to restaurant workers. I’ve known her for 7 years. We’re in the same BNI (Business Networking International) group. I also think that we’re related somehow because she’s Irish and her maiden name is Ahern, which is my maternal grandmother’s maiden name. Maybe someday we’ll take one of those tests.

I had the honor of photographing her a few weeks ago. I did my usual thing of shooting portraits outside with my digital camera, and I wanted to do something special and photograph Allison on film with my 4x5 camera. I really like how the film shots came out and it was fun to process them in the dark in my studio. I cherish the ritual of working with film.
