🔄 The creator economy is boiling and each social media platform is afraid to miss out on compensating creators and then they migrate somewhere else. From the receiving side, creators are electrified to be the super creators that each platform wants. To be honest, I am not sure how healthy is this uncurbed motivation. Balance is golden and I do not know how much of it will remain with this ever re-energizing loop.
🔄 This loop looped also crypto and bitcoin to be specific. The news came this weekend about Twitter and Strike. I heard it on the Unchained podcast, then I read it on Medium. I also extracted it here for you, from CNBC. Read on and watch on!
⚡️ Twitter is set to enable tipping in through the crypto wallet Strike. Strike founder and CEO wrote on medium: " Yo. Today I am unbelievably excited to announce the Strike API and Strike’s first API partner, Twitter. Today, Twitter enables free, instant, global payments for their users with their integration of the Strike API. Starting today, Twitter will allow all iOS users around the globe to send tips over the Lightning Network. The Strike Tips integration, allowing users to receive global tips through their Twitter account, will begin to roll out on iOS today and expand to all users including Android over the coming weeks."
