Today at 1pm we will be holding a little gathering on Zoom for those of us who simply need a little human interaction, or maybe a little support during this difficult time. This portion will involve general discussion-- be prepared to leave investment talk at the door unless that is the general interest. Possible heavier topics for the support group include: Family issues, staying healthy, financial stuggles/solutions, relationships/love, and faith. Lighter topics could range anywhere from Tiger King, to memes, to whatever people are doing to get by.

Afterwards, we will hold our meeting as usual, though 2pm will be more focused towards beginners and 3pm will be more discussion based, and more geared towards experienced investors. However, you will learn something from every part of the meetings. ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS WELCOME. No stock market experience is necessary for any portion.

Good Morning Everyone,

We are currently looking for students who are interested in taking on a role in the executive board for our club. With a majority of our executive board graduating this semester, we will have many open positions (President included). I have listed the positions that will be open. Because I will be a graduate student next semester, I will step off the executive board to allow the club to remain an undergraduate club. However, I will be available to guide the club if needed.

For positions where there are multiple people that sign up, we will have a vote for those roles. Please know that all positions are available to new and old members alike. The available positions are as follows:

President

Executive Vice President

VP, Head of Diversity

VP, Head of Marketing

Marketing Specialist/Coordinator

Treasurer

Club Ambassador

A special throwback to an amazing meeting we held on February 21, 2018.

Tam Tran, who was the former CEO and President of Aegis Capital Holding was a guest speaker for our club! We had a fun time learning about his life and experience in building a multi-million dollar company!

Good News Investment Club!

David Clarke, a current student from UMass Amherst would like to invite you all to join a new platform known as "Gain".

The Gain app is currently being used at UMass Amherst to share news about the stock market. They are building a community where finance students can debate what is happening in the markets and fuel interesting discussions. That being said, they would like to include members of UMB into their forum and have provided the links below so you all can get involved. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the UMass System!
