As we move from Summer straight into Polar Vortex season, outside of the normal traffic issues, one of our major concerns is all the trees that were killed during the major snow/ice event in 2021. Local professionals estimate that thousands of trees in our area were killed during that event and in the years since we have seen more and more fall on our customers property. Today, almost 4 years later, the ones left standing have deteriorated significantly and it doesn't take much to bring them down. If we experience a prolonged ice/snow situation this week this is something that everyone should be aware of. Sixty foot dead trees holding ice/water for an extended period of time is a recipe for disaster. Be aware of these hazards on your property and avoid parking vehicles under or near them.
