Bossier Federal Credit Union was established in 1954 and founded on the credit union principle of people helping people. Originally chartered to serve the civilian employees of Bossier Base, we started with just eight members and offered only share accounts and loans. Over time, we became the chosen financial partner for the employees, students, retirees, and family members of such persons of the

Bossier Parish School Board, the City of Bossier, and the Parish of Bossier. In addition, we also serve hundreds of businesses, organizations, churches, and associations. Today we proudly serve any person who lives, works, worships, or attends school in the parishes of Caddo, Bossier, or Webster. Thanks to your patronage, Bossier Federal Credit Union continues to grow and offer new services to our members. Today we serve nearly 25,000 members holding more than $150 million in assets offering a wide range of financial products and services. As reflected in our mission statement, we strive to meet all of your financial needs. We truly believe in the credit union philosophy, “People Helping People”. Bossier Youth Leadership kicked off another incredible year last night — and we couldn’t be more proud to cheer on these future leaders! 🎉

For more than 30 years, The Bossier Chamber has been preparing area high school students to step confidently into leadership roles. The Bossier Youth Leadership Program is a cornerstone of the Bossier Innovates Foundation, made possible through the powerful partnership between the Chamber and the Bossier Parish School Board.

Last night’s kickoff reception brought together students, educators, and community partners who believe in investing in the next generation. We’re especially proud that our VP of Marketing serves on the BYL Committee, helping support and guide these students as they grow, connect, and lead.
