Value. It is a little word with big meaning in your life. I was talking to one of my girls about what they will be driving when they get to that age. We have a 2002 Trailblazer with 260k miles on it. It's sole purpose in life now is to get all 4 of my children "trained up" on their driving skills. It needs a lot of love and TLC. Needless to say, it is not their dream car, but it is the perfect ride for them. It has battle scars in all the right places. It saves us a lot by not having to purchase a newer depreciating asset for them to learn on. It has a lot of value in our lives. It has more value than what we have invested in it.
So, that got me to thinking. No matter what you do in life, no matter what your career or job is at this time, bring more value to the table than what you get paid to do. A job well done seldom goes unrewarded.
