I grew up in Watauga county and graduated from Watauga High School in 1980. I continued my education at the University of South Carolina and graduated in 1985 with a BSBA, Insurance & Econ Security. In my non-State Farm life, I am the Executive Director and co-founder of BeanStalk Community Theatre, a USA Track and Field Official, a Watauga High Cross Country/Track and Field volunteer, member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church vocal and bell choir, a past American Field Service host parent, past member of the Salvation Army Council, and past Sr. Warden at Holy Cross Episcopal Church.
