A change is coming to Saturday banking this fall! 📣

Beginning October 1, 2026, Saturday banking services will move from our Main Location to our South Story branch at 1326 South Story Street in Boone. Saturday hours will remain the same from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

We’re sharing this update early to give our customers plenty of time to plan ahead. We look forward to continuing to serve you at our South Story location on Saturdays!

Today, we’re celebrating 34 incredible years with Danelle McBirnie, our Bookkeeper/Teller Supervisor. Throughout her career, Danelle has been an invaluable member of our team, and we are incredibly grateful for her dedication, hard work, and commitment over the years.

One of the things Danelle appreciates most about working at BBT is the family atmosphere and the relationships she has built along the way.

When asked for her best piece of advice for customers, Danelle says, “Be cautious of scammers - they don’t feel bad about taking your money. Be aware of what you bring to the bank to deposit and always monitor your account.”

Outside of work, Danelle enjoys spending time fishing with her grandson.

Today, we’re celebrating Jill Hadaway and her 10-year anniversary with Boone Bank & Trust Co.! 🥳 As a valued member of our teller team, Jill enjoys working with the public and appreciates the friendly customers she gets to interact with each day at BBT.

Outside of work, Jill enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, watching movies, and grilling out. Her newest hobby is training and grooming her little Toy Poodle. She also has a love for popcorn and pizza!

Jill’s advice to customers: “Closely monitor your statements and accounts for accuracy. Always be cautious of phone calls, texts, and emails requesting your personal information or account numbers.”

Today, we’re celebrating Nancy and her 9-year anniversary with Boone Bank & Trust Co.! 🥳 As one of our Vice Presidents and Mortgage Lender, Nancy has helped countless customers navigate the home-buying process and achieve their dream of homeownership.

Outside of the bank, Nancy enjoys reading, working in her yard, and spending time with her family.

What Nancy enjoys most about her role is helping customers purchase a new home - especially first-time homebuyers. Her advice to customers: “If you are renting or waiting for interest rates to go down, keep in mind that the rent you are paying is 100% interest, so anytime is a good time to buy a home.”
