🚨 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡? 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧.

One of the biggest misconceptions about employer provided life insurance is that it’s enough coverage, and you’re all set.

But here’s something worth checking:
𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞?

I recently had a friend who thought he was covered, only to find out his life insurance policy through work was only $𝟐𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎.

While that’s certainly better than nothing, would $20,000 be enough to support your family, pay off debts, cover a mortgage, and replace your income if the unexpected happened?

Most financial experts suggest starting with life insurance coverage of 𝟏𝟎–𝟏𝟓 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞, depending on your family’s needs, debts, and financial goals.

For someone making $75,000 a year, that could mean needing $750,000 to over $1 million or more in coverage.

And remember, employer-provided life insurance may not follow you if you leave your job.
