An Operations Update from our CEO, Bill Wiggs:
I wanted to provide an update on how we are managing our business and responding to the challenges being presented by COVID-19. This past week, we fully implemented our Business Continuity Plan, allowing our entire operation to function seamlessly from remote workstations.
Over 95% of our employees are now working from their homes. Our team of field Marketing Representatives will handle agency visits by phone or email, and claim inspections will be reviewed individually depending on circumstances. Customer service, claims, payment processing, underwriting and all other day to day operations have been tested and are up and running remotely.
We feel this is the safest and most appropriate approach – for all involved. This ensures that we are doing our part to minimize exposure and “flatten the curve,” while positioning us to manage our business and provide the same high quality service both our policyholders and independent agents expect and count on from us.
For us, it’s business as usual, just from different locations. While you may hear a dog bark while you’re talking to an Underwriter, or hear kids playing in the background while you’re processing a payment, we are here for you.
