2027 ACA Health Insurance Open Enrollment Begins November 1!

Big changes are coming to the Health Insurance Marketplace this year!

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has introduced several changes designed to improve security and prevent fraudulent enrollments, including:

Stronger identity verification (ID proofing)

New electronic authorization requirements

Additional verification of personal and household income information

Changes that could affect your monthly premiums and financial assistance

Important Dates:

November 1, 2026: Open Enrollment begins

December 15, 2026: Deadline for January 1 coverage

January 15, 2027: Open Enrollment ends

Even if you're happy with your current health insurance, it's important to review your options. Your premiums, coverage, and financial assistance could change for 2027.

My friend Virginia Bolton is raising money for the American Heart Association's 45th Annual Beach Ride, supporting the fight against heart disease and stroke.
