A big round of applause for Stinker Store employee and scam fighting hero Avalon!

While working, Avalon encountered a 79-year-old woman, who had fallen for a computer virus scam and was attempting to deposit thousands of dollars into a Crypto ATM. Avalon tried to stop the woman and explain what was happening, but she wouldn’t listen, so Avalon took matters into her own hands, unplugging the machine and calling police. Officers talked to the woman and saved her from losing $15,000. Then just one week later, Avalon stopped a 75-year-old scam victim from depositing $19,000 into the same machine.

A devastating amount of money is stolen by scammers every day, so we thank Avalon for stepping in and helping before it was too late.

The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is coming up quickly (10/15-12/7). This looks to be another very difficult (read: painful!) busy season for us but are preparing the best we can to be of service to you.

We suspect there will be some of the Idaho carriers that discontinue some of the more popular plans for 2026. ****We have not received anything firm about this yet*** but after doing this for 18 years you can sometimes pick up on clues when this might happen.

That being said we will be setting up invitation-only group Client meetings at a larger venue (not our office’s Conference Room like we’ve used in the past) to discuss the most attractive options for next year. This appears to be the only option we can make sure everyone’s taken care of (we believe there could be ~500 clients we need to assist on this). We will be in touch with clients that are potentially affected in October and then provide you with the venue info and dates/times. Enjoy the rest of your summer in the meantime
