Last month’s Game Ball went to Ella LaBarre for embodying Aspen’s core value of Intellectual Curiosity!

As our intern, Ella brings her enthusiasm for learning and sense of curiosity to our team. She approaches new tasks with an open mind, takes the time to understand not just what we do, but why we do it, and looks for opportunities to deepen her knowledge along the way.

What stands out about Ella is her commitment to personal growth and desire to build a deeper understanding of the work she does. Ella, thank you for bringing your curiosity to our team and for helping us find ways to improve. Congratulations on this month’s Game Ball!

This month’s Game Ball goes to Maranda Barnhart for living out one of Aspen’s core values: “If you want to go far, go together.”

Maranda is the kind of teammate everyone is glad to have in their corner. She’s always willing to jump in, answer questions, share what she knows, and help move things forward when someone needs support.

What makes Maranda stand out is the way she prioritizes the success of the team over individual recognition. She genuinely cares about helping others, builds strong working relationships, and consistently shows up with a collaborative attitude. Her impact can be seen not just in her own work, but in the success of the people around her.

Maranda, thank you for being the kind of teammate who reminds us that we achieve more together than we ever could alone. Congratulations on this month's Game Ball!

Last month’s Game Ball went to someone who makes an immediate impact by living out one of Aspen’s core values every day: responsiveness. Congratulations to Autumn Sharp!
Autumn consistently brings a high level of responsiveness to everything she does, whether that’s staying on top of communication internally or making sure clients feel supported and taken care of.
What stands out most about Autumn is that her responsiveness goes beyond simply replying quickly. She’s thoughtful, proactive, and dependable, and that shows up in the way she communicates with both clients and the team. Her approach helps things move forward smoothly and creates a better experience for everyone she works with.
Autumn, thank you for the energy, professionalism, and responsiveness you bring to Aspen each day. We’re lucky to have you on the team!

This month's Game Ball goes to someone who lives out one of Aspen's core values every day of working smarter, not harder: Johann Simpson!
Johann hasn't been with us for long, but he's already changed how we operate. He showed up with a great attitude and a knack for spotting where things could run better. He's not afraid to ask why we do something in a certain way, and more often than not, those questions lead us to something better, usually a simpler process that serves our clients more effectively.
What stands out about Johann is that he looks for the smarter path, and he's made the whole team sharper for it. Johann, thanks for showing us what working smarter looks like, the Aspen way!

This month’s Game Ball recipient is a team member who consistently demonstrates one of Aspen’s core values in action—humility: Mike Keller.

Since joining Aspen, Mike has approached his work with a genuine sense of care, curiosity, and appreciation for both clients and colleagues. His ability to build meaningful relationships and connect deeply with clients is evident in everything he does and has made a lasting impact across the organization.

Even with all of his experience, Mike continues to show up with a learner’s mindset—seeking to grow, improve, and thoughtfully understand each client’s unique situation. That consistency in attitude and approach is what truly sets him apart.

Mike, thank you for being a daily example of what it means to embody humility in the Aspen way.

This month's Game Ball recipient is the team member who brings both exceptional depth and meticulous accuracy to the great work he does: Jack Burnett!

Jack doesn’t just complete the work; he digs in. Whether it's a portfolio analysis, financial modeling, or preparation for client meetings, Jack delivers results that are thorough and precise. He asks the right questions, follows the details all the way through, and produces great work. He lives out our value of attention to detail and doing things the right way.

Jack will graduate from Boise State University in May 2026, and we are especially proud of the intellectual rigor and commitment he has brought to our firm during a very busy senior year. Go Broncos!
