WE ARE IN A BUYER'S MARKET!!!

If you listen to the media, day in and day out they are telling you that it is a terrible time to buy a house. Interest rates are up, a crash is coming, etc. But if you do a little homework, you'll see that this isn't necessarily true.

Yes, interest rates are up. However there are more and more programs being offered to help combat rising rates.

Home prices, though, are coming down as the market is correcting (which is needed). This is not a crash. A correction.

Buyers are not having to engage in bidding wars now, which had driven home prices up and led to accepted offers being well over the asking price.

Sellers are now often offering credits to help sell their homes. Builders are offering big incentives as well.

It is a buyer's market.
