Sellyourpolicy.net a subsidiary of Appel Financial Group is informing people that the retirement income promised probably will not occur if you purchased any permanent Life Plan.
If you are 75 or older or younger with health issues and own a life insurance policy you should consider getting a no obligation evaluation to determine what the true value of your policy's worth..Especially if you were promised income that you are not receiving.
Most people are not aware that their Life Plan is a hidden asset whether it is a Term policy just prior to conversion, Universal Life , Index Life, Whole Life or even Variable Life. These Plans need to be evaluated for their true worth..
Now The Rest Of the Story:
Some people were sold their Whole Life, Universal, Index and Variable Life Plans as providing additional income at retirement as well as providing a Death Benefit. However, over a 20 30 or even a 40 year period these policies NEVER perform as projected. As a result the illustrated potential income that was promised is not there at the time of retirement.
I even know a Life Broker that is selling Index Life as an alternative to an IRA...He shows his clients the income they can receive at age 65 at a 7.50% rate of return on the policy.. This return is illustrated as a constant for 35 years if the client is 30 years old.. The Insurance soft ware only illustrated a constant interest rate which is not a realistic projection..This Income will not be accurate ever...
What this broker does not tell his potential client is that the internal cost of coverage, the company expenses and the interest rate all are not guaranteed...Therefore ALL OF HIS CLIENTS will not get the income that was illustrated at the time they reach retirement and their broker is long gone.
In Fact I would love to have an Insurance Executive proof to me that the income they illustrated 20 years ago is higher then projected...I bet not one company executive will dispute my assumptions in today's BLOG..PROOF ME WRONG PLEASE...
