Hi everyone, I’m just starting to get back in the swing of things since my surgery. I will say getting a good website built is not as easy as it looks. It should be up shortly and I will let you know when it is.
Stay healthy, Frank

Hi to all my clients and friends. Well on Wednesday I will be getting a colonoscopy and on Thursday is my surgery. The only positive thing is the peace of mind is that I will have no bills. That’s right no hospital bills thanks to my Supplement plan from United American.
One thing you don’t need when you are having surgery is to worry about a hospital bill.
I will be available a week after Labor Day. If you have any questions please call me at (561) 756-3513. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
Stay healthy.
Frank.

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve communicated with you. I was in the hospital for 12 days on heavy IV antibiotics. After I was released the doctor put me on 30 days of 2 types of antibiotics.

The reason for all of this is diverticulitis, it is a very dangerous and debilitating illness. I don’t think I was ever this sick, the pain was unbearable and after 2 knee replacements that pain wasn’t as bad as this.

When I was finally released from the hospital and after 4 CAT scans, endless drugs and a bill that is still not complete.
The first bill is $62,000 not including the doctors visits.

I am scheduled for surgery on the 29th of August because the antibiotics are only a band aid.

Because of my AMAZING SUPPLEMENT PLAN, that I have for over three years now. I owe nothing. I must
repeat “ I OWE NOTHING”.

A little bit of information about my visit in the 12 days I was there I had three roommates.

The first roommate just had Medicare and for 3 days he is responsible for 20% of his bill.
The second roommate came from ICU and he had a heart attack and spent four days in my room. He has an advantage plan and found out that he had a $10,000 deductible. I thought he was going to have another heart attack when he found out about the insurance issue. With what’s going on with United Healthcare and not covering Boca Raton Regional Hospital, you will be covered, but out of network with a $10,000 deductible.

My third roommate had a supplement plan and all of his medical bills were paid in full. I told him I was an insurance agent and I was very glad he had a supplement plan. He was happy he had one too.

I want you to understand that I walked out of the hospital with just my signature. I OWE NOTHING. My supplement plan from United American covered everything plus my upcoming surgery.

Just so you know how supplement plans work, you have no networks to worry about, no referrals, no copays, so you can see any doctor, any specialist, and any hospital nationwide that accepts Medicare. By having a supplement plan you are eliminating the financial risk of getting hit with a large medical bill whenever your health deteriorates or have an accident.

The worst statement I here from people is I’m as “healthy as a horse”. I’m never sick. Horses get sick and break their legs!
Don’t be a victim.

I received some information, that if anyone has an advantage plan from United Healthcare and lives in Boca and the surrounding areas, and uses Boca Raton Regional Hospital they no longer accept United Healthcare advantage plans. So if you need to go to the hospital it will be considered out of network and you will be liable for $10,000 deductible. I’m not sure of the outcome of any negotiations with the hospital so if you need more information you need to please call the hospital.

When you are sick the last thing you want to worry about is money. Please give me a call at (561) 756-3513 so I can help you secure a plan with United American Insurance Company.

Thank you.

Stay healthy,

Frank

Today I was feeling a bit upset, after I reached out to a man who I was keeping in touch with regarding a supplement policy. The fact that he just turned 65 and hadn’t made a decision yet was the reason for my call. He answered and didn’t sound like himself. I asked him what was wrong? He told me he was in the hospital and was having surgery the next morning. He was having one of his toes removed because of his diabetes. I was shocked. He told me he wished he would’ve listened to me, and said he knew that not having a Supplement Plan was a mistake. Only having Medicare now wasn’t going to help him with all the bills mounting up.

I told him not to worry that I will get him coverage with a new supplement plan.

We can’t do anything about his recent surgery or the bills he’s going to receive. But because of his diabetes he needs to be covered with a supplement plan.

I tell people all the time please don’t procrastinate. As we get older regardless of how we feel today, our lives can change in an instant.

Please give me a call I’m here to help you day or night 561-756-3513.

Stay healthy!

Hi everyone, today I’m going to show you a summary of benefits I received from Medicare. Basically, it is an itemization of what I can be billed for after Medicare pays. Keep in mind you will receive bills for all balances if you don’t have a supplement plan. I could be billed in the amount of $366.16. However, because I have a Supplement Plan I have a zero balance and I wasn’t billed one cent. Now there are some advantage plans out there ,that you can be billed for certain tests and procedures, that you have had were done until you meet your $6700 deductible. I don’t know about you, but on a fixed income it is difficult to meet a $6700 deductible. Most people don’t know about the $6,700 deductible in network and a $10,000 deductible out of network and that does not include copays.
If you need more information please give me a call at (561) 756-3513, and I can explain to you the difference between a supplement plan and an advantage plan.
Stay healthy!

I recently spoke to a woman, who at the age of 68, was still working and was covered with the health Insurance policy from her employer. In our discussion, we talked about what her premium costs were. The insurance from the job is about $400 a month, paying $200 each paycheck. I also found out that she had a high deductible.

She told me a story about someone at her job needing a special MRI which was denied. Sad stories about high deductibles and large hospital bills.
I gave her all the information about a supplement plan, which I have myself. I explained to her all the benefits of a Medicare Supplement Plan. She told me she was comfortable with what she had, but was afraid of changing. It was less expensive, but the fear of making the change was scary. It’s not the first time I’ve heard that. I didn’t forget about her because I knew I could help her. I called her about a month later just to follow up. I was really shocked to hear that she had a heart attack, it was mild and luckily she just had a stent put in. However, her bills that are coming in are huge. That alone could give her another heart attack. So needless to say, after the fact, she now has a supplement plan.
I always hear that I am as healthy as a horse and I don’t need that kind of insurance. Over and over again and my answer is that horses break their legs and most of the times they get put down and that’s just an accident. Our health has nothing to do with accidents and today an accident in a hospital setting can be devastating and expensive.
Please let me know if I can help anyone out there who is in the same situation or just needs a supplement plan I’m here to help and I care. Trust me it happened to me too! It won’t ever happen again because I’m covered, my family is covered and my friends are covered. Call me 561-756-3513, ask for Frank! Have a great day.

It feels so good to help a woman who is retiring from a job at 72 years old. She has worked for over 20 years with the same company.

So many people in this situation aren’t sure what to do. How to get part B Medicare, how to convert to a Medicare plan. It was all about presenting and organizing everything for her in a way that was so easy for my client to understand.

I care about my clients and how they experience the process. I wanted her to know she was not going to be fooled by some plans that are offered and end up with a high deductible. So I introduced her to an F plan with no copay and no deductible.
She wishes she would have gotten the plan when she turned 65, because the plan she had at her job was expensive with a high deductible.
Unfortunately you can’t go back. Ultimately she is extremely happy with her decision to purchase her supplement plan. And I enjoyed helping my client! Another satisfied customer.
