For those of you considering a “health share” or “faith based sharing” type of health insurance plan, PLEASE BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS and read below.
These ARE NOT insurance policies and they even tell you that right in their benefit guide!

By them not being insurance policies, they are EXEMPT from insurance laws, regulations and the obligation to pay for ANY medical bills. This means they can deny your claim without any reason at all, no matter how small or large. There are also many instances of payments of some claims taking years to settle, or paying out only fractions of claims leaving the client on the hook!
I DO NOT and WILL NOT sell these plans, no matter how enticing they make commissions for agents/brokers. I am staying away, and I urge you all to as well!!
