We are proud to share that our CEO, Catherine Okubo, was recognized as CEO of the Year at the Female Voice Awards 2026.
Anyone who knows Catherine knows that her journey has not been a typical one. She started working at 13 years old in her family’s vitamin business and has spent more than 20 years building her career across different industries before entering healthcare.
Like many entrepreneurs, she has experienced both success and significant challenges. At one point, she found herself rebuilding her life from the ground up while also being a new mother. Those experiences helped shape the resilience, determination, and perspective she brings to MPB Health every day.
Healthcare is not an easy industry, and improving it requires people who are willing to challenge the status quo and stay committed to serving others. Catherine’s leadership has helped guide MPB Health’s continued growth while keeping our focus where it belongs: creating a better healthcare experience for our members.
As the first female CEO in our company’s history, this recognition is meaningful not only because of the award itself, but because it reflects the values we believe in as a company: hard work, perseverance, innovation, and service.
