Wow! I honestly didn’t even realize there WERE this many storefronts downtown at all, let alone just vacant ones
[Edit Note - the original story stated there were over 200 vacant, ground-level storefronts but that article was pulled, edited, and reposted]

A bigger note to us as Real Estate Investors is that the landbank currently holds THOUSANDS of properties. While they don't open these up to investors very often, they may need to eventually to clear their books.

It's finally happening! HB93 is up for testimony in the Senate Committee next week. Please submit any stories/testimony you might have about paying your resident's water bills to Deborah at OREIA by Friday 4pm. Let's be sure the legislators know what a big problem this is for housing providers and how hard it makes it to keep prices and deposits low.
