When plans change from one year to the next, some details are small — but others are worth a closer look. Here are 3 quick red flags to watch for during AEP:

🚩 Your prescriptions moved to a different tier (this can change what you pay).
🚩 Your doctor or pharmacy is no longer in-network.

Part B premium $202.90. Part B deductible $283 for 2026...

Social security COLA at 2.8%…Part B Premium 9.6% increase...Part B deductible increase of 10.11%.

Tis the Season for Medicare reviews, we mail the blue envelopes out to our clients in September. Of the clients we have spoken with, two out of three have not recieved the envelope. Prescription coverage is one of the most important pieces to review during AEP. Even small changes can make a big difference in your costs.

Here’s what to check in your Part D plan:

• Formulary — is every medication you take still covered?
• Tiers — did any of your prescriptions move to a different tier this year?
• Pharmacies — is your preferred pharmacy still in-network?

A quick look at these three areas can save you from January surprises. And remember, when looking at your medications, it’s more than the drug name – look for the drug “serial number” (called an NDC) to make sure that it matches.

It’s here! Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs from October 15 through December 7.

During this window, you can:
• Switch from Original Medicare to Medicare Advantage (or back the other way)
• Change from one Medicare Advantage plan to another
• Join, drop, or change a Part D prescription drug plan
• Look at dental and vision coverage options

Any changes you make will start on January 1, 2026.
