I'm certainly glad. Too much money is spent on people getting subsidies or Medicaid when not really eligible. Proviers are also over billing. When you see benefits are cut , its not necessarily a bad thing. It could be stopping benefits from going to people that dont need them so the money can go to people that do

Yes its geared toward agents, but its a pretty good explanation. I do like that able bodied people need to work, volunteer or go to school for Medicaid. Also the annual redeterminations are good. I have seen people stay on Medicaid a long time after their circumstances changed.

I just spent hours on the phone with someone who fell victim to a telemarketer. She was on a website and suddenly got a phone call tied to the site. They were offering extra benefits she might be eligible for. They signed her up to a new Medicare advantage plan. She did not understand or want to do this. They lied on the application to get it to go through. Scammers are ruthless. Her current insurance was set to end the 1st of the month with the new plan starting then. When audits found she didn't have a legitimate reason to enroll in a new plan, she may have been left with no coverage.
NEVER give information to anyone you did not initiate the call with.
