North Dakota Insurance Commissioner, Jon Godfried says he's the tallest politician in the world at 6'10"

In a Twitter post following the GWR announcement, Jon Godfread – who serves as North Dakota’s insurance commissioner – has claimed that he is the tallest member of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). The commissioner also said that his “next stop” would be to conquer the GWR.

“I don’t think this record will stand for long. Don’t forget about your friendly Insurance Commissioner in North Dakota. Confirmed tallest , next stop Guinness World Record!” Godfread’s tweet read.

Robert Cornegy Jr. was proclaimed the tallest politician in the world for being 6’10” tall. He is a former professional basketball player, playing for the St. John’s University men’s basketball team.
