I got asked the other day, “If I hit trash cans in the middle of the road does it fall on my vehicle insurance or the homeowners? Asking for a friend”

My response, “🤣🤣 excellent question! Since they were stationary in the road, the driver would be at-fault. Now…if it blew out of my driveway as you were driving by and smacked your vehicle… my fault.”
