In honor of International Credit Union Day, a day of giving back, meet the winners of CLCU's 2026 Outstanding Community Member Awards! 🌟 Click through to see who won and where their $1,000 awards are going. ➡️
In August and September, you nominated neighbors in Calhoun, Liberty, Gulf, and Franklin counties who go above and beyond for our hometowns. Our CLCU committee selected one winner from each of four age groups, and each winner chose a local cause to receive a $1,000 donation in their honor.
⭐ Frances Price
At 93, Frances is the matriarch of Calhoun County. She drove the school and band bus for years, taught Sunday School, served as the county's Red Cross relief worker, and helped found the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement, where she still bakes biscuits in the Yon House kitchen. Her award goes to the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement.
⭐ Garrett Maneth
Garrett started Earthen Vessels Recovery to give women leaving jail or prison a safe place to heal, beginning with her own living room floor and growing into a home in Bristol. She kept leading the ministry after losing her husband in 2024. Her award goes to Earthen Vessels Women's Recovery.
⭐ Mi'Kel Engram
Coach Kel came back home to pour into the community that poured into him. As Head Cheer Coach at Blountstown High, he brought back Competitive Cheer and led the team to its first State appearance in over 10 years. He also teaches History at BHS, runs the Media Ministry at Become Church, and organized the Community Block Party. His award is split between Blountstown High School 2027 Project Graduation and Become Church Vision Ministries.
⭐ Taylor Hall
Taylor helps with Blessings in a Backpack, joins community beautification projects, and donates artwork from her own banner and window-painting business. She's also a 4.0+ dual-enrollment student, a Florida FCCLA state officer, class president three years running, and her school's first female golfer. Her award goes to The Florida Motorcycle Safety Program.
