Sooo…. We did a thing earlier this week and we’re VERY excited to share the news!!
WE BOUGHT ANOTHER BUSINESS!!
Why did we do it? The answer is quite simple. We’re a little crazy BUT we love being able to create freedoms for our family.
I know what you might be thinking; what about your other businesses? Yeah don’t worry, nothing about them is changing 😇
So what is this new business you might be wondering?! It’s a maple syrup business! Yeah I know, that one came out of left field like a baseball hit with passion. Truth of the matter is we had a great opportunity from a family friend to buy his maple syrup business that we’ve been supporting for as long as we’ve been together. He and now WE make all of the syrup ourselves and are selling it online and at local shows/markets. The thing we love the most about this company is that it’s 100% pure maple syrup grown with organic practices (we just haven’t paid for the organic labeling) and only use clean and natural ingredients for the flavor infusions. (Ex. The vanilla flavor only has 2 ingredients maple syrup and vanilla bean)

I know insurance is boring but before you keep scrolling please take just a couple mins to look at this! The reality of insurance is that basically everyone needs it. Whether you own a 🏡 or drive a 🚗, you need it BUT almost no one takes the time to understand it, yet almost everyone has misinformed expectations about it. 🤦🏻‍♂️
Insurance will NEVER make sense to you if you don’t take the time to understand it. I’m not referring to you understanding every coverage and what they all cover, what I mean is having a basic understanding of what insurance is and how it works. ⚙️🛠️
Believe me, I understand how frustrating it is to have your costs increase, it’s happening to me too. 💸
There’s a reason we go to the store though and don’t complain (maybe you do?) to the store manager about how much more expensive their eggs are. It’s because we understand inflation because we see interest rates going up, banks failing and so on. We see in the news all about labor shortages 📉and cost of goods going up 📈, so we don’t really question why but no one understands how that bleeds into the insurance companies.

If you want to understand insurance I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH YOU!! I geek out about this stuff and would love to break it down some more! I know 4 mins is kind of long for a ”short” video but worth the watch if you care about your money.
