To all our Safeco customers: Safeco will rebrand to Liberty Mutual on April 25th.
Liberty Mutual has owned Safeco since 2008 and all that is happening is the name will change on all documents beginning April 25th.
Your policy will have the Liberty Mutual logo and branding on it; however, every other aspect will remain the same.

Preparing for severe winter weather!

A significant winter storm is headed toward several parts of the country, with many states already declaring a state of emergency. The forecast is calling for heavy snow, icy conditions, and an Arctic blast, which could result in hazardous travel conditions, power outages and pipe freezing concerns.

Here are a few tips to help you prepare and protect your property and businesses:

Ensure buildings maintain heat of at least 40°F or warmer, and keep all doors, windows, skylights, vents and shafts weather-tight to prevent cold air intrusion.
Before the storm, inspect and clear the roof and storm drains of debris that can impede drainage.
Identify where removed snow will be deposited. it should be away from walkways, air intakes, emergency exits and any fire department connection points.

Drip your faucets and open your cabinet doors.
The Burton Group is here to assist, but first contact your carrier if there seems to be any damage or can result in a claim in order to mitigate any further damage.
