It helps to have your policy number ready.
Couple of tips: photos of damage before cleanup, do not throw away anything until conversation with claims rep (not the reporting call), and prevent more damage by covering openings caused by storm damage. Removing trees on homes or other structures are part of a claim, but only to get them off of the structure and onto the ground. Most local tree services know how policies work and will separate removal from structure and debris removal from premises.
