Today Brandon is sharing another True Story about the importance of life insurance, take a read ⬇️

Brandon once worked alongside another insurance agent named Jon. Later in life, Jon unexpectedly developed diabetes. He had lived a generally healthy life, but sometimes health issues happen that are simply outside of our control.

Jon was the only insurance agent Brandon had ever met who had no life insurance of his own, despite having a family. After his diagnosis, Jon struggled to find a company willing to approve him for coverage.

One day, Jon confided in Brandon that if he had understood the importance of life insurance earlier in life, he would have purchased as much coverage as he could afford while he was still healthy.

Today, Jon manages his diabetes and it’s simply part of his everyday life. But he still lives with the reality that he may not be able to get the life insurance coverage he wishes he had to help protect his family. Since then, Brandon has met countless people who have shared similar stories. And so often, it ends with the same words: “I wish I’d bought it while I was healthy.”

The lesson? Don’t wait until your health changes to think about protecting the people who depend on you. You may not be able to predict what life will bring, but you can take steps today to prepare for tomorrow.
