𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲.

For many homeowners, a significant portion of their wealth may be tied up in their property.

Depending on the situation, there are financing options that may allow homeowners to access a portion of that equity without selling the home.

A HELOC is one example.

Rather than receiving one lump sum, a Home Equity Line of Credit provides a revolving line of credit secured by the home, subject to the terms of the loan.

Homeowners may consider accessing equity for things like:

→ Consolidating certain higher-cost debts

But home equity isn’t simply “extra money.”
