On Friday, several Town & Country agents attended the Pekin Awards Banquet. Our agency was presented with four awards, Underwriter of Merit, Inner Circle Club, Key Award, and Beyond the Expected, highlighting dedication and commitment to professional excellence in not only property and casualty lines, but especially in life insurance.

Agent, Nicole Lewin, played a key role in obtaining these prestigious awards. Nicole’s hard work, knowledge, and unequaled commitment to life insurance is an asset to any team. ⚠️ A deep freeze is hitting Wisconsin this week — the kind of cold that puts your home’s pipes at real risk.

Most burst pipe claims don’t show up during the cold snap. They appear after temperatures rise when ice inside the pipes starts to thaw and pressure builds.

Help protect your home now with a few quick prevention steps:

❄️ Keep a small trickle of water running from faucets
❄️ Open cabinet doors under sinks to let warm air reach pipes
❄️ Detach outdoor hoses and drain exterior spigots
❄️ Seal gaps or drafts around pipes
❄️ Insulate exposed pipes in basements, crawl spaces, or attics
❄️ Know where your main water shutoff valve is

A few small steps now can help prevent major damage in the coming weeks.
