2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Extended Cab Work Truck 4WD 6.6L V8 (Gasoline) 108k miles;
AND
One 7x14 Tandem Axle Heavy Duty dove tail trailer w/ Pressure washing equipment (Itemized details of equipment available upon request)

Bids will be accepted for each item separately and/or for both items together. Bring the sealed bid to Kim Warren at First State Bank of Blakely. Cut off date for taking bids will be Noon on Friday, April 10, 2026.

Words cannot express how devastated we are over the sudden loss of our long time President & CEO, William D. Lanford (Billy).

Director Jimmy Loyless’ words could not have expressed it better:
“Billy’s dedication to doing the right thing was front and center throughout his life and career. He loved the community where he lived his entire life. He loved his family and often spoke proudly of the accomplishments of his grandchildren. He enjoyed gathering with friends to play music. He will be missed.”

🌨❄️ WINTER WEATHER ALERT – BLAKELY, GA ❄️🌨

A strong cold front moving through the region may bring a rare chance of snowfall to Blakely, GA. Areas just south of us, including Tallahassee, are forecasted to see rain possibly mixing with snow as temperatures drop late Saturday night into early Sunday. This means brief snow flurries are possible in our area as well.

🧊 What to Expect:
• Rain late Saturday night
• Temperatures dropping early Sunday
• Rain may briefly mix with snow
• Light accumulation possible on grassy or elevated surfaces
• Roads are expected to remain mostly wet, but isolated slick spots are possible

⚠️ Precautions to Take:
• Use caution when driving, especially early morning hours
• Watch for bridges and overpasses that may become slick
• Dress warmly and limit time outdoors if possible
• Protect pets, plants, and exposed pipes
• Check on elderly neighbors and those without adequate heating
