Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Drew Backer Retirement strategies for professionals planning their early retirement Why is money important? Step one is defining the "why."

For me, it means security for those I care about, primarily my wife, Anna, and daughter, Ellie. I want them to always be taken care of and never have to worry about money. Beyond that, it is important I make memories with my family and bless others when I can. Step two is finding the appropriate plan to help make it happen. Anyone that has ever been overwhelmed by a financial decision knows, a why

without a plan doesn't do much good. That is why I help couples and surviving spouses navigate their financial decisions in and leading up to retirement. I know Social Security and Medicare are confusing. I also know that is intimidating planning for healthcare expenses, an income strategy that will last through your retirement and a legacy for those you care about. I want to help you simplify these decisions and bring confidence to your financial strategy. That way, you can spend more time thinking about the why and less on the how. Something else you should know is I give my advice from a faith-based perspective. It is important that you not only make the right decision, but that you understand the decision being made. My goal is to teach you how to steward your money well and maximize its opportunity, so you can use it for what matters most. Lastly, outside the office, I'm involved in the Towns County Chamber and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. My wife and I enjoy playing pickleball, family movie night and taking hikes with our daughter. If you have some of these concerns and would like answers to your questions, give us a call at 706-400-6037. We look forward to meeting you!
