Last weekend Jason Moehring and I got to host the Thrivent tent at the Bethel Homecoming & Family Weekend. Thrivent sponsored the Generosity Station where families were able to put together a kit for children at Gillette Children's Hospital to fill their own stuffed animal, complete with a red heart. Quite fitting because the Thrivent logo also has a red heart.

It was a fun event, and I enjoyed connecting with people, but my favorite part of the event was overhearing a family pray over the box of animals for the children who would receive these kits. How powerful for parents to be teaching their children the habit of prayer at a young age.

Thank you to Thrivent for the opportunity to take my son's baseball team to The Ballpark in Blaine for a year-end party. The boys had a blast with the simulators and it was fun to get together one last time before summer comes to a close.

I want to express a huge thank you to the coaches who put so much time and energy into these boys the last few months. Your sacrifice does not go unnoticed.
