Is your auto policy keeping up with your life? 🚗

Using your car for side gigs? Carpooling the whole team? Renting it out on Turo? If your insurance doesn’t know, you could be driving with a major coverage gap.

Standard policies only cover personal use. Anything outside of that like business, gig work, rental, plowing snow etc. needs to be disclosed.

After your new policy starts, your insurance company is probably going to send an inspector.

🚨 PSA for gig workers: Your regular car insurance probably WON’T cover you while you’re delivering food or driving for a rideshare app.

Meaning the moment you hit “Go” on the app for work, you could be driving without valid
coverage. This creates a massive gap if you get into an accident.

Don’t rely on the app’s insurance alone because it often only kicks in during an active trip, not while you’re waiting for a ride or delivery request.

Protect yourself and your car. Talk to your broker about adding a rideshare endorsement or commercial coverage to fill the gap.
