We salute Mrs. Dara Bennett, Pierce County Superintendent, upon receiving the Georgia School Superintendent Association President's Award!
For more than a decade, Mrs. Bennett has proven to be a highly effective educational leader, both as a high school principal and as a superintendent. She leads with a sharp focus on student learning, teacher quality, and highly effective instructional methods. Her district regularly ranks near the top of the state in academic achievement, which is a direct reflection of her leadership. She has developed a culture of excellence in her district by establishing high standards for teaching and learning at every school.
