A referral is never just a name passed along.

To me, it means someone trusted me enough to send a friend, family member, client, neighbor, or business contact my way.❤

That is the kind of trust I want to keep earning. So if you’ve ever sent someone my way, shared my name, left a review, or simply told someone to reach out — thank
you!! 💙

Father’s Day always makes me think about the steady people.

The ones who fix what breaks, show up when needed, carry more than they say, and often measure love by what they provide, protect, build, or quietly handle behind the scenes.

In insurance, I get to see that side of people often.

The dad asking questions about his teen driver.
The husband making sure the house is protected.
The business owner trying to take care of his crew.
The grandpa thinking about what makes sense for this season of life.

So much of what people call “insurance” is really just care showing up in practical form.

Happy Father’s Day to the dads, grandpas, stepdads, father figures, and steady hands who mean more than they probably realize. 💙

A lot of people think insurance frustration is only about price, but many times it’s really about confusion.

When something changes and nobody explains why, people feel stuck. My goal is to help make the conversation feel clearer, calmer, and more useful.

Sometimes the most helpful thing an insurance agent can do is slow down and explain the “why.”

Not every answer is simple, but people deserve clarity.

Short-term rentals can be a great opportunity, but they can also create insurance questions that are easy to overlook.

A home used as a personal residence is not always viewed the same way as a home used for guests, rental income, or short-term stays.

That doesn’t mean every situation is complicated, but it does mean the details matter.

How often is it rented?
Who manages it?
Is it listed on a platform?
Is it seasonal or year-round?
Are there amenities like a dock, pool, hot tub, golf cart, or recreational equipment?
Is the property personally owned or held in an LLC?

These are the kinds of questions that help guide the conversation.

If you own or are considering a short-term rental, it may be worth reviewing the setup before assuming a standard policy fits.

Storm season brings a lot of insurance questions in Oklahoma. ⁉

Wind. Hail. Roofs. Deductibles. Water concerns. Tree damage. Claims. Repairs. Contractors.

And the truth is, the answer is not always simple because coverage can depend on the policy, the situation, the cause of loss, and the details involved.

That’s why I’m careful with how I explain storm-related coverage.

I don’t believe in guessing. I don’t believe in making blanket promises. And I don’t believe people should feel talked down to when they’re trying to understand their policy.

What I do believe in is helping people ask better questions before they need the answers.

A few things worth reviewing this season: your wind/hail deductible, roof settlement terms, water-related limitations, claim process, and whether your policy still reflects your current home situation.

Insurance is easier to understand before emotions are high.

Summer travel has a way of making the to-do list longer.

Pack the bags. Check the tires. Water the plants. Line up the pets. Make sure the doors are locked. Tell someone where you’ll be.

Somewhere in that mix, it may also be worth thinking through a few insurance-related details.

Are the drivers in your household listed correctly?
Are you renting a car?
Will your home be empty for an extended time?
Are you taking valuable items with you?
Are you towing anything?
Do you understand how your coverage may respond if something happens while you’re away?

Not every trip requires a policy change, but a quick conversation can help bring clarity before you go.

That’s the heart of what I try to do — make insurance feel less like a pile of paperwork and more like a real-life conversation.

Around here, summer and lake life just go together.😎

Boats, campers, side-by-sides, trailers, lake houses, weekend plans, and last-minute invites all start becoming part of the normal conversation. 🛥🌊🛺🏖️🏚️

And somewhere in the middle of all that, insurance questions tend to pop up.
Those are good questions.

Summer should feel fun and full — but it’s also okay to pause and make sure the things you’re enjoying are properly discussed and reviewed.
