Financial safety

At Bravera, ensuring the financial safety and security of our customers is of utmost importance. Our employees are well-trained to detect any suspicious activity and we urge our customers to safeguard their financial information and regularly monitor their accounts.

This is a reminder to never provide financial information to an unknown source. We are currently seeing a few mortgage scams circulating in our communities. Bravera Bank does not offer Home Protection or Warranty Coverage Plans, and we will never mass text customers. If you receive a letter or text, please contact your Bravera advisor or one of our branches.

It is true. As of Monday, rates officially went over 6% and after a pretty flat market from mid-April to early June, the volatility is back. 📈 Let me explain a little around the why and what may happen next.

Mortgage rates are based off bonds & bonds generate interest for investors. So, in times of inflation like we are facing now they really take a hit because they are worth less than when inflation was lower.

It is the Federal Reserves job to set monetary policy & keep inflation in check.✔️ However, their efforts so far haven’t been very effective—as we all are seeing and feeling. Just as they thought inflation had peaked, the May CPI report came out(key inflation indicator) and showed it is still going up and basically took any kind of idea of pausing rate hikes off the table. The markets response was panic. Panic about the Fed’s potential panic at the upcoming meeting & policy announcement later today. Result 🟰 rates shot up!

Now, today they (the Feds) meet. Many are expecting a 75 basis point rate hike.🤷‍♀️ If they are aggressive enough we could see rates come down some. If they aren’t aggressive enough…well, rates could go up more.

Hang on tight my friends! 👀😬

All about crop insurance!

With crop insurance, you and your farm are protected against losses that occur during the crop year. Losses must be due to unavoidable issues beyond your control, like an extreme weather event.

While crop coverage is generally similar across all crops and farms, some customizations are allowed to reflect your farm’s unique risks. Talk to a Bravera Insurance advisor to help determine what is best for your farm.
