Starting out in a bank as a teller, Amanda worked her way up through the ranks in the financial world. Having both passion for banking and for providing direct customer service, Amanda wanted to pursue her passion further and became a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant. She excelled in her career and quickly began to study more about mortgage. Very shortly after starting in mortgage, she studied hard
for many hours after work and using applied knowledge she learned at work and took her Mortgage Loan Origination test and obtained her MLO certification for both the state and federal level. Her drive to want to learn more and understand the industry from all sides led her to obtain her National Processing Certification through the National Mortgage Broker Association and later received her Loan Underwriting Certification through the National Association of Mortgage Underwriters. Her experience and extensive education provide her the ability to understand and to work your loan all the way through. She specializes in assisting with the front of the front end of your loan, making sure you are getting into to right program for you and that you do not feel lost during the program. She provides mortgage coaching as well as credit coaching to make sure you are hitting your financial goals. She makes sure to make clients as comfortable and worry free while starting your loan process. Mortgage is her passion, and she continues her education by maintaining membership with the Association of Independent Mortgage Experts and actively
participates in many community and federal legislative decisions regarding mortgage, serving as North Dakota’s liaison for mortgage legislation. She is also an active member of the Brokers are Better and Women in Mortgage networks, which both advocate for affordable home ownership, supports women in business and provides continued education on all the newest and upcoming mortgage tools and programs. Amanda has many close relationships and ties to real estate agents and other industry professionals, allowing her to help you find the right team of knowledgeable experts. Amanda also has her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Mary. Amanda enjoys fostering and rescuing all types of animals in her spare time and spending time with her husband Elliot. Together, they enjoy watching The Office, continuing their education in any way they can, volunteering for Purrfect Pound Pals and Kitty City, spending time with their nieces, and making each other laugh. Amanda has a strong passion for helping create a healthy community, supporting local and volunteering.
