But when you're ready, homeownership can create opportunities that renting simply can't, from building equity over time to having more control over your living space and long-term plans.

I get asked about interest rates all the time. And while rates matter, they're only one piece of the puzzle.

What you actually live with every month is the total payment - principal, interest, taxes, insurance, and any applicable HOA dues, closing costs, etc.

That's why focusing only on the rate can sometimes cause people to miss the bigger picture. A payment that comfortably fits your budget will usually matter a lot more than chasing the lowest rate possible.

One of the biggest misconceptions I see is people thinking they need to have everything perfectly figured out before talking to a lender. You don’t.

Most conversations start with questions, uncertainty, and a rough idea of what someone wants their future to look like. That’s normal.

The goal isn’t to know everything before you reach out…it’s to have someone help you make sense of it step by step.
