We are incredibly proud to celebrate two outstanding members of our team who have been recognized by The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates for their exceptional leadership, service, and impact.

Congratulations to Leia Ragland, Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Development, who was named Professional of the Year in Alabama, and Caleb Lambert, Director of Community Engagement, who received the Emerging Professional of the Year in Alabama award.

Having one team member receive this level of recognition is an incredible achievement. Having two employees honored in the same year is truly extraordinary. This distinction reflects not only their individual dedication and accomplishments, but also their unwavering commitment to serving our members, strengthening our communities, and creating lasting impact every day.

The Legacy for Good Foundation is proud to announce our newest initiative, The Legacy for Good Scholarship. This $2,500 scholarship award is available to undergraduate or graduate students continuing their education through an accredited two year, four year, or technical college or university, or through a certificate program at a trade school. Applications will be accepted through June 30, 2026. Recipients will be notified by August 3, 2026, and scholarship funds will be distributed directly to the institution for the Fall 2026 semester. Over the past several months, we have been working behind the scenes to develop new initiatives and programs that will allow us to better serve our communities. As we continue to grow, we felt it was the right time for a refreshed look that reflects our vision for the future.
