You signed that loan because you were a partner. Because that's what you do when you're building a life with someone.

And now you're walking into a divorce not realizing it's still walking with you.

This is the conversation most attorneys never have with you. It's the one I have every single day.

Your divorce decree does not remove you from a loan. Only the lender can do that.

If no one has told you this yet, my new video is for you 👇🏼

Real talk: how many of you signed something for your husband’s business and truly cannot tell me what it said? 👀

You were mid-dinner, he said “it’s just a formality” — and you signed.

Here’s what you need to know: that signature might have your name on a business loan.

And if things go sideways — financially OR in your marriage — the bank is calling YOU.

Let’s find out what’s out there with your name on it before it’s too late.

Book a consult with me — link in bio or drop a comment and I’ll send it to you. 💛

She opened that savings account before she even met him.

Funded it herself. Never thought of it as "ours."

And when the divorce started, her husband's attorney put it on the table.

That's when she called me.

And that's when I had to explain something nobody had told her:

Feeling like something is yours and being able to prove it in a legal proceeding are two very different things.

There's a word for what happened to her money. It's called commingling and it is one of the most common, most expensive, and least talked-about blind spots in divorce.

In this week's vid, I'm breaking down exactly how marital property and separate property work and more importantly, where that line quietly disappears without anyone realizing it.

If you're going through a divorce, thinking about one, or just want to understand your own money better, this one is for you.

Your pre-marital assets aren't automatically protected in a divorce.

The reason isn't complicated, it's documentation.

Old account statements. Inheritance records. Gift letters. Proof the money never touched a joint account. No paper trail? A court may not be able to protect it, even if it was yours from the start.

I've seen women lose money they absolutely deserved to keep. Not because the law failed them. Because nobody told them to save the receipts.

Don't let that be you.
