YOUTH CONFESSION: Children, Teenagers, and Young Adults

Father, In the Name of Jesus, we lift up our youth before You today – our children, our teenagers, and our young adults. We declare that are taught of the Lord, and great is their peace. Our youth are whole – spirit, soul, and body. They have healthy self-esteem and know who they are in Christ. They are leaders and never give in to peer pressure. They walk holy and upright before God and man and are examples of Christ in word and deed. They have a consistent daily quiet time, and they grow up into spiritual, personal, and emotional maturity. They are not rebellious but show respect for authority at all times.

They have quality relationships with their parents and guardians and with the spiritual authority that You have placed in their lives. They have good Christian fellowship with other believers. Father, You sent your Word and healed them and delivered them from all destruction. They are redeemed from poverty, sickness, failure, and spiritual death. They’re redeemed from accidents, terrorism, criminal acts, violence, street gangs, and any type of molestation.

They are set apart and sanctified unto You. They are not conformed to this world, but they are transformed by the renewing of their minds through the Word of God. They overcome the world, their flesh, and the devil! They have no desire for worldly music, premarital s*x, adultery, po*******hy, or any form of perversion. They manage the thoughts of their minds, and keep their bodies under control and s*xually pure. They have no desire for illicit drugs, smoking or alcohol. They resist the devil, and the devil flees from them!

They walk out the principles of the Word of God and choose to live for You all the days of their lives. All of our youth are excellent students. They are the heads of their class and not the tail. They prepare with diligence and use their faith to do well on their school work, tests, and projects. They have favor with their teachers, faculty, and staff. Scholarships, honors and awards are bestowed upon them. We declare that our youth fulfill the call, purposes and plans that you have for their lives, bringing glory and honor to Your Name. You have first place in their lives!

We declare they are all tithers and give offerings. There is no lack in lives. Nothing missing, nothing broken, nothing lacking in the lives of our young people. The angels of the Lord are encamped all around them! The blood of Jesus covers them, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. With long life You satisfy them and show them Your salvation!

Now Holy Spirit, help us to pray fervently and effectually God’s perfect will for our children, teenagers, and young adults In Jesus Name Amen, amen and amen!!!

"Beware of Personal Favoritism"

My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with partiality. For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, “You sit here in a good place,” and say to the poor man, “You stand there,” or, “Sit here at my footstool,” have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?

Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts? 7Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called?

If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well; but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.

For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty.

For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. (James 2:1-13)

"Faith Without Works Is Dead"

What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?

Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!

But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?

Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (James 2:14-26)

"Don't Compromise"

Galatians 1:6-10

"I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ."

Don't let unrighteousness creep into the righteousness of the family line by accepting family members who decide to live a perverted lifestyle (homos*xual and or le***an lifestyle).

We can love them and not accept their lifestyle. Stand strong in the word that can change the fact with the truth of His word.

Prayer: Lord I pray that I stand strong in your word without compromise always pleasing You because you are my Jehovah-Tsidkenu (THE LORD MY RIGHTEOUSNESS).” In Jesus Name amen, amen and amen!!!

"Loving God Under Trials"

"Behave Like a Christian"

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:9-21)

"Can God Work Though You Without Fuss?"

The stars do their work without fuss; God does His work without fuss, and saints do their work without fuss. The people who are always desperately active are a nuisance; it is through the saints who are one with Him that God is doing things all the time.

The broken and the jaded and the twisted are being ministered to by God through the saints who are not overcome by their own panic, who because of their oneness with Him are absolutely at rest, consequently He can work through them. A sanctified saint remains perfectly confident in God, because sanctification is not something the Lord gives me, sanctification is himself in me.

A sanctified saint is at leisure from himself and his own affairs, confident that God is bringing all things out well.

Reflection Questions: What does my fear of rest say to God about my confidence in Him? What does my refusal to rest say to the world about the source of my hope?
