In March 2020, we changed our name to Water's Edge FCU.

BIG things happening here at Water's Edge FCU. Within the next six months, we are looking forward to merging with CenturyFirst FCU. They have been around since 1956, while we have proudly serviced our members since 1953. We will have ALL the benefits of a big credit union, checking/debit card, online banking, mobile banking, mobile deposits, real estate loans, along with a ton of other type loans with good rates, and competitive CD dividend rates.
Right now, it is in the hands of the NCUA, hopefully after their approval, it will be published on NCUA.gov website, then you will receive a ballot in the mail to vote for this. Regina and I are very encouraged about the positive things that CenturyFirst Federal Credit Union can offer our membership. Did you know that USA insurance does not cover you if you are out of state or even in "upper" Mississippi. You get what you pay for. We will no longer allow this insurance for our loans. Call an insurance broker, they will find you a comprehensive policy for a great rate. I suggest Coastal Select, 228-207-3535 or Oak Trust,
(228) 354-0877 - for car and home owner insurance policies.
I received a phone call from USA, they stated that they do cover their customers if they are out of state.

If you dont know, upping your insurance minimums is very cheap. State minimums are a joke, and do not protect your best interests. I upped ours from 25/50/25 to 100/300/100 for less than $30 every six months. Look into it, worth it.

Each member gets four free checks a month, after that there will be a $1 per check charge.
