Having served on the School Site Council and the Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Committee, I’ve worked directly on the issues facing our Big Bear schools. These experiences give me firsthand insight into what our parents, teachers, and students need every single day.

Over the past several days, on my e-bike, I’ve been out personally delivering campaign postcards to registered voters throughout these neighborhoods. So far, I’ve completed areas from Highway 38 and Meadow Brook to parts of Sugarloaf, Moonridge, and Fox Farm.

Last Saturday was especially memorable because our daughter, Vienna, joined me on one of the routes and helped deliver postcards on her e-bike. My wife is a huge part of the campaign. Having both of them alongside me in this, makes the day even more meaningful.

Spending time throughout Area 3 has given me the opportunity to see our neighborhoods firsthand, meet community members, and stay connected with the people who live here.

My approach to serving on the school board is straightforward: be present, listen carefully, do the work, and remain accountable to the students, families, teachers, staff, and community the district serves.

There is still more ground to cover, and I’ll continue making my way through the remaining routes in Area 3.

Thank you to everyone who has stopped to talk, offered encouragement, or taken the time to learn more about my candidacy for the Bear Valley Unified School Board.
