🧊 DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE IN 2014? 🧊

It was everywhere. Friends, family members, celebrities, and communities across the country were dumping buckets of ice water over their heads and challenging others to do the same.

But behind the fun was an important mission: raising awareness and funds for ALS.

On Thursday, September 3rd, the Beverly Rotary Club is honored to welcome Nancy Frates, mother of the late Pete Frates, as our featured speaker for Discover Rotary Day.

Pete’s battle with ALS and the Frates family’s determination to fight this devastating disease helped turn the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge into a worldwide phenomenon in 2014, raising millions of dollars and forever changing ALS awareness and research.

Come hear Nancy share Pete’s incredible story, the impact of the Ice Bucket Challenge, and how one family helped inspire a global movement.

You’re Invited: Rockin’ With Rotary featuring Chin Friction on Saturday, April 11

If you’re free on Saturday, April 11, come join us for Rockin’ With Rotary. It’s a fun night out with live music, great food, and a packed room, and it also happens to be the Beverly Rotary Club’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The event helps support local nonprofits and community projects right here in and around Beverly, so it’s an easy way to have a great night while giving back. Can’t make it on April 11? Donations and sponsorships are a meaningful way to support the cause.
